Tulip, primrose, and pansy sales are trending

 

 

Tulip sales searches have increased by 80%* in the previous year, which isn't surprising given that the blooms come in a variety of colours and can easily provide a splash of colour to any yard.

 

With their vibrant colours and distinct style, pansies are proving to be a popular choice. Primroses, which bloom in early spring, are another popular planting idea this year. They're incredibly adaptable and do well in both garden beds and borders, as well as containers.

Consumers will be looking for garden features with a Mediterranean flavour this year, from Moroccan tiled troughs to Greek urns, classical statues, and a variety of exotic plants and grasses.

 

The old potting table is making a comeback as well. The simple joys of seeding, trimming, and tending to plants are appealing to gardeners. A designated location with a well-organised table will be well-received.
